THE SHORT VERSION

I thought becoming a creator would mostly teach me how to make better videos.

It did.

But it also taught me a surprising amount about patience, confidence, rejection, consistency and knowing when to stop editing something I've already edited twelve times.

NUMBER ONE: NOT EVERY IDEA WORKS

Some ideas look brilliant in my head and completely average once they're on camera.

That's okay.

I've learned to let bad ideas be bad without taking it personally.

One underperforming Reel doesn't mean I've suddenly forgotten how to create.

I'm trying to make the process sustainable.

01 — CREATE WITH INTENTION

Know why I'm making something.

02 — LET THINGS TAKE TIME

Not everything needs to happen immediately.

03 — KEEP LEARNING

There is always something I'm not very good at yet.

And honestly, I like that.

A LITTLE REMINDER

You don't have to have everything figured out to keep moving.

ANYWAY...

I still have approximately 400 things I want to learn.

So I should probably get back to work.
